Explains how to get an updated Insurance Card from a customer.


1. Review case details to see if the claim was denied due to an incorrect insurance card on file.

2. Call the customer and use the Aetna - Insurance Card script to walk you through the process.

3. Using the script, verify with the customer if the insurance card on file does/doesn't match what they have.

4. Email the customer asking them to respond with a scanned copy of their insurance card to update the file.

5. Once you have received the updated card, contact Aetna Member Services by dialing 1-800-338-7807 or the hospital on file.
