ForteBio's Octet® and Pioneer family of instruments provides real-time measurements in the analysis of therapeutic biological molecules at different stages of development. In order to meet your high throughput demands for drug discovery, the Octet platform has eliminated the need for microfluidics and designed a simple Dip and Read method that allows simultaneous monitoring of large numbers of interactions in an automated manner. With the Octet systems, you can survey a number of different interactions rapidly, obtain accurate kinetic and affinity information and determine concentrations of your protein of interest in complex sample matrices. Ranging from the two-channel Octet K2 instrument to the un-paralleled 96-channel Octet HTX instruments, the Octet platform addresses a broad range of applications in various stages of the drug discovery and development process. With a wide range of ligand capture surfaces that allow for the immobilization of antibodies, recombinant proteins, DNA, RNA and virus like particles (VLPs), the Octet platform has become a "must" have laboratory tool for a broad range of biomolecular interactions studies.

The Pioneer platform is a high sensitivity system that incorporates dynamic injection SPR (diSPR®) for improved biophysical characterization of small molecule:protein interactions. Fragment screening campaigns are streamlined with the diSPR method, OneStep®, which determines fragment affinity from the primary screen, saving weeks of instrument and analyst time. The Pioneer system gives more information about small molecule interactions in shorter time, making it a game-changing tool in the drug discovery lab.

The kinetic characterization of biomolecular interactions to derive on- and off-rates and affinity constants is critical to the screening and selection of desirable products throughout the development and production of therapeutics. With a dip and read label-free technique capable of detecting target molecules in their crude matrix, Pall ForteBio's BLI-based systems are robust and easy to learn. They enable expanded kinetics analyses in a workflow that provides higher throughput than comparable label-free technologies without the limitations of flow-cell based systems. Moreover, they are capable of analyzing the interactions between diverse biologics including in their crude matrix.

The Pioneer FE system enables combined screening and characterization for small molecule applications using the diSPR technique, OneStep. OneStep determines kinetics and affinity of binding interactions from a single gradient injection. The high sensitivity of Pioneer FE coupled with OneStep/NeXtStep technology makes Pioneer the go-to system for small molecule drug discovery. The Octet RED96eOctet RED384 and Octet HTX systems offer high sensitivity that enable the analysis of small molecules in a flexible Dip and Read platform that is easy to learn and operate.
