How can I adjust the trigger pull on my Model 700?

The trigger on the original Model 700 as well as the original X-mark Pro comes pre-adjusted at the FACTORY ONLY. All adjustments to the trigger must be made by the FACTORY OR A MONARCH AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER.

The 2009 X-mark Pro Externally adjustable trigger comes with a small 1/16" allen head screw located in thetrigger shoe.  This screw is user adjustable by simply turning it clockwise to increase pull weight, and counterclockwise to reduce pull weight.  This exposed screw is the only screw that should be adjusted, and adjustment can be made without removing the gun from the stock.

NEVER remove the trigger mechanism, or make adjustments to the older trigger or trigger assemblies. This can put your firearm in an unsafe condition.
