INSTALLATION
DYMO Label v.8 requires that you have Mac OS "Administrator" level permissions to install a printer. You
MUST be able to modify files in the System folder to install and configure a LabelWriter printer.
NOTE: Do not connect the USB cable to your computer or USB hub until instructed to do so during the
software installation. If you have a label printer already installed, disconnect the USB cable from your
computer before running the installer and reconnect the cable when instructed to do so.
Manually Installing a Label Printer
Mac OS X v10.5 and later
1. Make sure your label printer is plugged in and turned on.
2. Open System Preferences for Print & Fax.
3. Click the + button under the Printers list.
4. Select your label printer from the Printer Name list, and then click Add.
The printer is added to the Printers list.
5. Close the Printer Preferences dialog to complete the installation.
