Bombardier Aircraft Training

The Bombardier Aircraft Training provides complete flight crew and technical training services. Uniquely positioned as the only business and commercial aircraft manufacturer to offer wholly-owned training to its customers, we train pilots and maintenance technicians using the latest information on our aircraft and systems with a level of knowledge you’d expect from the manufacturer. What’s more, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), we quickly modify courseware and training equipment to reflect ongoing enhancements to our aircraft.

Our comprehensive training solutions meet all regulatory requirements and each customer’s specific needs. Bombardier aircraft training is delivered at:

  • Bombardier-run facilities in the U.S. and Canada
  • Customer sites worldwide using our portable training systems
  • CAE ATP sites in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands

Bombardier aircraft training centres are FAA Part 142 training facilities and JAA type-rating training organizations. Our state-of-the-art training programs and methods provide trainees with a rich learning environment that is realistic, safe and successful. To achieve this, we use:

  • Fixed-base simulators
  • Full-flight simulators
  • Advanced computer-based training systems

Three Partners, One Mission

We partner with CAE SimuFlite, a leader in advanced aviation training for 20 years, to provide industry-leading training worldwide. This includes facilities in North America, Europe and, soon, the Middle East.

Through this partnership, mixed fleet operators access a complete training solution for virtually all business aircraft. CAE is also our authorized training provider for the Challenger 300, Global 5000, Global Express and Global Express XRS aircraft.

We also partner with FlightSafety International.  FlightSafety has Learning Centers in North America, Europe, Japan and South Africa, 7 of which offer pilot training for Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300/400 Series aircraft and 10 of which offer business aircraft pilot training for the CRJ, Challenger, Global Express and Learjet aircraft variants.  FlightSafety also offers maintenance training for all of the foregoing aircraft types at 5 locations in Canada and the United States.
