CHARGER UNABLE TO PLUG INTO THE SCOOTER CHARGING PORT.

Possible cause : Dust or debris in the charging port.
Solution : Check to see if there is any dust or debris. If there is, gently draw the debris out with small stick. (Do not use needles or any other metal objects to remove debris, as this could lead to a short circuit.).

SCOOTER DOES NOT RUN.

Possible cause : Loose wires or connectors.
Solution : Check all wires and connectors to make sure they are tight.

Possible cause : Undercharged battery.
Solution : Charge the battery. A new battery should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 12 hours after each use. Never charge the battery longer than 30 hours. Check all connections. Make sure the charger port is plugged into the charging port on the scooter and that the charger is plugged into the wall outlet.

SCOOTER MAKES LOUD NOISES OR GRINDING SOUNDS.

Possible cause : Chain is too dry.
Solution : Apply a lubricant such as 3-in-1™ or Tri-Flow™ to the chain.

SHORT RUN TIME (LESS THAN 15 MINUTES PER CHARGE).

Possible cause : Battery is old and will not accept full charge.
Solution : Even with proper care, a rechargeable battery does not last forever. Average battery life is 1 to 3 years depending on vehicle use and use conditions. Replace only with an original 12 volt (10 amps/hour) battery with built-in thermal fuse. Do not use non-original substitute parts.

Possible cause : Brakes are not adjusted correctly (brake too tight).
Solution : Refer to the instructions in the owner's manual on adjusting the brakes.

Possible caus: Battery requires charging.
Solution : Fully charge the battery. First charge should be 18 hours and up to 12 hours for recharges. Check to ensure that charger is tightly plugged into both the wall outlet and the scooter. Make sure power flow to the wall outlet is on.

SCOOTER RUNS SLUGGISHLY.

Possible cause : Unsuitable riding conditions.
Solution : Ride only on solid, flat, clean and dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground.

Possible cause : Product is overloaded.
Solution : Make sure you do not overload the scooter by allowing more than one rider at a time, exceeding the 120 Ibs (54kg) maximum weight limit, going up steep inclines or towing objects behind the scooter. If the scooter is over loaded, the circuit breaker may trip and shut off power to the motor. Correct the riding condition that caused the over load, wait a few seconds, and then push the reset button to reset the circuit. Avoid overloading the scooter as this will prematurely wear out the batteries and other components.

Possible cause : Brakes are not adjusted properly.
Solution Adjust the brakes pursuant to the instructions in the owner's manual.

SCOOTER SUDDENLY STOPS WORKING WHILE IN USE.

Possible cause : Circuit breaker has been tripped.
Solution : Check all wires and connectors to make sure they are connected and tight. The reset button (on the left side of the battery box) will automatically trip and turn off the power if the motor is overloaded. An excessive overload, steep incline or too heavy of a rider could have caused the motor to overheat and tripped the breaker. If this occurs and the scooter suddenly stops running, wait a few seconds and then push the reset button in to reset the circuit. Correct the condition that caused the breaker to trip to avoid repeatedly tripping the breaker.

SOMETIMES THE SCOOTER DOESN'T RUN, BUT OTHER TIMES IT DOES.

Possible cause : Motor or electrical switch damage.
Solution : Replace with a new motor or electrical switch.

Possible cause : Loose wire or connector.
Solution : Check all wires around the motors and all connectors to make sure they are tight.
